  • Q. Does Brook-Lea have a dress code? Yes, Brook-Lea has a dress code for the golf course and facilities. Normal golf attire is recommended, please consult your host (member) if there any questions.
  • Q. Is Brook-Lea available to the public? Brook-Lea Country Club is a private club and accessible for the use of its members and their guests. There are member-sponsored 'outside' events for golf and dining available by invitation.
  • Q. How can I learn more about becoming a Brook-Lea Country Club member? Contact the club office at 585.247.3242 and our membership committee will contact you. There are opportunities to tour the facilities, play the golf course and learn more about the features and benefits of club membership.
  • Q. I hear club membership is expensive - is that true? Club membership cost and value is relative to your use of the facilities. If you are an active golfer, entertain or like to host business associates, or use of a pool and interested in family-fun activities Brook-Lea may be the right place for you. Brook-Lea is one of Rochester's most comfortable and affordable clubs.
  • Q. I do not golf, but want to join, are there options? Brook-Lea offers a variety of member classifications that are tailored to individual needs. Please consult the club office and/or membership committee to learn more.
  • Q. Tell me more about the golf course? The golf course was designed in 1926 by famed, world-reknowned golf course architect Donald Ross. Donald Ross has designed courses in the national spotlight that include: Pinehurst (NC), Oakland Hills (MI), Seminole (FL), Inverness (OH) and Oak Hill here in Rochester NY - site of past US Open's, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup and US Amateur. In addition to Brook-Lea and Oak Hill locally Mr. Ross also designed the Country Club of Rochester, Monroe Country Club and nine-holes at Irondequoit Country Club.
